MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Its the BIG one! The last and the very best of the 'Big 3'. Christmas and New Years are just the warm up. Keeping with tradition I have the day off today. I never toil on my birthday! I think I will bake a cake today. As a kid I always loved burfday cake with the real icing on top, and with my sweet tooth I would eat the icing first!

I've had a few presents already;

A willy care kit (!?), from Charlene and Dave.

A drinks tankard from Kirsty.

And from me, the silver, James Bond edition K800i.

Thanks for the birthday text today but unfortunately I will have to delete them all as I will be using me new handset :(

Sarah's 21st

The 1st birthday of the year, and the honor goes to Sarah! She wanted a 'small' one. Not like Kirsty's limo ride to London. Or Greg's massive hired party or Lucy's house party or even Channa's 3-night extravaganza! A few close friends down the pub. Oh well. We ended up going to 3 separate pubs, drinking all the way. There where a few new faces as well; 2 of Sarah's old work colleagues and Louise's new fella Chris.

The main pub was The Cuckfields in Wanstead. Sarah had reserved a table but it had been given away and we had to wait a hour for another to come available. A little of the spotlight shone on me too with my birthday on Monday. Hope you had a good day and evening Sarah!

Princess Sarah

Today, Sarah the little princess, joins the 21 brigade as she celebrates her 21st birthday. With my birthday coming up on Monday (the last, and best of 'the big 3'), we have once again joined forces. Last year dinner at a Chinese restaurant, this year, a booze up, down the pub. Happy birthday sis! Capricorns are the best! Mwah!

Rolling around London town

Yesterday, on my day off, I had to venture into the West End to exchange a Christmas gift for my mommy; and whilst there thought I'd take the opportunity to drop in on Channa. I'd been meaning to do so for a while but the last 2 occasions I couldn't find her shop. Even this time I had to walk up and down Regents Street three times before I found it.

As luck would have it she was due a break and joined me on my trek to HMV. I then had to endure her going into 2 different branches of the shoe shop Office, to find some shoes (obviously). They didn't have her size. I then tried Uniqlo to get a jumper to wear for mine and Sarah's birthday night out. They had run out of my preferred colour.

I bid 'adieu' to Channa then searched a few stores for a jumper, eventually finding one in Burton. I'm gonna look so cool Saturday night.

It's not me!!

A little bit of back story;

Just before Christmas the video below surfaced at work. It had been emailed from the Divisional Managers(!) office to my Regional Managers office, then to the offices in my area. The subject heading: 'Has Sacha been moonlighting?'

Everyone at work reckon it has to be me. Even down to the mad dancing and slightly camp overtones. What do you guys think.

Don't be scared of the comments box.

youtube. I salute you

My long overdue date with gym.

Hola amigos! Bienvenido a Squish Pages. Que tal?

My first day off of the year and its time to get reacquainted with the gym. I haven't been since October I think. Gotta maintain the body beautiful, plus I will be running in the Roding half marathon this year (13 miles), so need to start training and raising my fitness for that. I did run it last year, but only made 8 miles before my legs locked up like an old rusty hinge.

Hellooooo 2K7!

Did I go out last night? Are you some brain dead Dilbert? Of course I did! New Years Eve. Hello!!
In the end I spent new years with Sarah and Vicky. Driving over to Egham in Surrey to go to a house party in Vicky's student house. I was definitely a cool night, and after midnight we walked down to the Uni campus and did a little exploring. But I couldn't drink as I had to drive there and back. First new year I've welcomed sober in a long time I can tell you.

Also. Check out the new look for Squish Pages. Rocking!

A new begining?

'Out with the old, in with the new. A new more positive outlook.'

Yeah right! It will just be more of the same old crap. We try to make improvements, yeah, we'll make little gains, but we are creatures of habit. Lazy. Always choosing the path of least resistance. Pre-programed. But the trying to change is the best part, with all the obstacles to climb, which makes the rewards that much sweeter.

Me? I have some resolutions for the new year;

1) To clear all my debts, bar active credit card and student loan, by 2008.
2) To have achieved a basic level in speaking and writing Spanish. Again by 2008.
3) Get back into drawing, with a view to producing artwork and illustrations that could make it to books. Covers and interiors.
4) Stop being sooo fussy with women!
5) Stop being so nice with woman. Good guys finish last. I'm the living proof.
6) Stay on message. So many things in life try to take you away from yourself. Try to squeeze you into a different mould, dance to someone else's tune. Well not me, I'm staying on message.
